Them life struggles
Lorde vs. Beyoncé
Sometimes I wish I could relive my life from beginning to present. To revisit my childhood with the knowledge and wisdom I have acquired over the years, sans the baggage of my past. I’d like to see what I would have done differently being privy to each situation. I would not let the words of those who sought to bring me down keep me from being happy for life is too short to be consumed by sadness.
If I could do it all over again, I would begin each day by watching the sun rise over the hills and watch it disappear over sea. I’d lie out on my wharf and try to count the stars every night, when the sky would permit me to try. I would sing aloud and often as I went about my day. I would love and live without fear, for fear is the ember that kindles failure.
Oh to fall asleep to the sounds of the thunder and rain as they sing a song of slumber to wake my dreams. Oh to awake again on a cold rainy day to sounds of pots a stir in the kitchen, filling my nose with the promise of a warm meal. How I’d like to watch the leaves change and to see the hills alive with colour, signaling the end of summer and the ushering in of winter’s first cold winds.
I’d sit by the fire on Christmas morning watching the joy on everyone’s face as we’d celebrate the season together. I’d look out my window at the mountains and see the snow gently falling on the frozen lake below. The world would seem to stand still, as if it were captivated by the beauty of a windless snowy day. If life had a reset button these are the things I would do and the moments I would cherish.

I’m like: I got you boo, you know what concept you struggle with? Midterms yo. The meaning of midterm is occurring once and in the middle of term, not that mess you guys keep pulling. Where you have two or three of those suckers and then proceed to put them all over the term. So yeah, I feel you on the struggling with certain concepts.
